Winter Trail Day and Potluck 2/24
Let's send winter off with a bang!
While we're sure to see plenty of snow lingering deep into March, we want to invite trail users to join us while Glacial Hills is in her prime. With plenty of snow, incredible trail conditions, and the polar vortex well behind us, we're hoping you can spend the day in Bellaire with us on Sunday, February 24!
Our pals from Paddles and Pedals, plus all of our wonderful trail crew volunteers, will be helping us with an afternoon of winter fun! Fat bikers, snowshoe hikers, and cross-country skiers are all welcome and encouraged to share their passion for winter sports at one of northern Michigan's top destinations. We're expecting plenty of snow and ideal grooming conditions, and there will be plenty of nature to enjoy and explore as winter hits its zenith.
If you've joined one of Don Hirt's famous Wednesday snowshoes, you know that every step is special here at Glacial Hills. While we're anticipating plenty of bikers, we want to make sure everyone feels invited and included to swing by for a hike and to stick around after their micro-adventure for some post-hike or ride refreshment. It is a potluck, so bring a little something to pass around and be sure to sample all the delicacies on offer. If you are providing a dish that might conform to special dietary needs, like vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free, consider bringing a little note to let people know.
